Residents' Survey

A Neighbourhood Plan must reflect the community's vision. This has to be evidenced to the Council when the draft plan is submitted. This is done by asking the community to vote on the final plan (the Referendum).

In order to ensure that the draft Neighbourhood Plan reflects the community's wishes, it is vital that you communicate those wishes to the Steering Group. The Residents' survey is how the Steering Group is capturing the community's wishes.

In building the survey, the Steering Group has sought input from the specialist consultant. Questions are designed to cover the key considerations for a Neighbourhood Plan. As a result, it may take around 30 minutes to complete so please plan for this. You are able to save the survey and return at a later date by entering your email address at the bottom of the page:

If you would like factual insights about the village to inform your answers, refer to the Evidence Base which can be found here.

The survey should be completed by all Newborough & Borough Fen residents over the age of 16. We are seeking individual responses, not one response per household.

Please complete the survey online.

There are many benefits to an online survey, not least the vast amount of paper and ink saved.

A few paper copies will be made available for residents who cannot access a computer, phone or device to participate online. These will be made available in the pharmacy and Mandairs. They can be posted back to the Village Hall - in the posting box by the side door.
